Current BAM Members

Eleanor Bergstein

Eleanor Bergstein (class of 2027), our lab manager, is currently deciding between various majors. Outside of BAM, she works for North by Northwestern magazine, the Undergraduate Law Journal, and plays for Women's Club Soccer! She is also a campus tour guide and volunteers with Books & Breakfast in Evanston Public Schools. If not doing one of these things, she can likely be found reading in a coffee shop, exploring Chicago, or running by the lake!

Izegbuwa Adun

Izegbuwa Adun (class of 2026) is a senior at Northwestern studying Biological Sciences and Psychology. Outside of BAM, she sings with Soul4Real, Northwestern's black a capella group, and the Northwestern Community Ensemble, a gospel choir on campus. She also serves as a mentor for ProjectMED, an organization where college students help underrepresented high school students interested in pre-health careers. Following undergrad, she hopes to attend medical school and pursue her aspirations of becoming a physician.

William Pirosch

William Pirosch (class of 2027) is a sophomore at Northwestern majoring in neuroscience with a minor in cognitive studies. Outside of BAM, he is the Volunteer Coordinator for Camp Kesem, an organization that supports children through a parent's cancer. After undergrad, he hopes to attend medical school and become a child psychiatrist.

Madison Rozwat

Madison Rozwat (class of 2027) is a junior at Northwestern studying psychology and neuroscience with a minor in art theory and practice. Outside of BAM, she makes illustrations for The Daily, volunteers with YMAA, AMASE, and PAWS Chicago. She loves to draw & paint, bake, try new coffee shops, and walk her dog. After graduation, she would either like to attend medical school to continue learning about the brain & mind or pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.

Benjamin Griesmeyer

Benjamin Griesmeyer (class of 2027) is a junior at Northwestern majoring in Psychology and Biological Sciences. Outside of BAM, he is an active member of Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity and the Treasurer of the Undergraduate Psychology Association. During his free time, Benjamin enjoys visiting local coffee shops, developing his musical talents, and spending time outdoors. After graduation, Benjamin plans to attend medical school in hopes of becoming a surgeon.

Melina Mehta

Melina Mehta (class of 2028) is a sophomore at Northwestern, majoring in Communications Studies and Psychology. Outside of BAM, she is a part of Deeva (Northwestern’s competitive, bollywood-fusion dance team), and when she is back home, she works for a non-profit organization dedicated to creating afterschool and summer programs for adults and children with special needs. In her free time, she loves to watch football and Disney movies, laugh with friends, go to the beach, and read.

Abby Pierson (class of 2028) is a sophomore at Northwestern majoring in Theatre and Psychology. Outside of BAM, she is on the executive board of Arts Alliance, directs shows for Northwestern’s Student Theatre Coalition, and performs with Seesaw Theatre, a group that brings theatre experiences to children with disabilities. In her free time, she enjoys reading, lifting weights, listening to music, and watching horror movies.

Naomi Ko (class of 2028) is a sophomore at Northwestern majoring in Psychology and English. Outside of BAM, she is a member of A&O Productions (a club that brings celebrities and musical artists to campus), president of ShireiNU A Cappella, and volunteers with Books & Breakfast at Walker Elementary School. In her free time, she loves to discover new music, journal, play the guitar, and find the best coffee spots in Evanston.

Ella Leppert

Ella Leppert (class of 2028) is a sophomore majoring in psychology and minoring in music. Outside of BAM, she is a tutor through Evanston's Books & Breakfast program, plays in the Northwestern orchestras, and is a camp counselor and volunteer at Kesem, an organization that supports children through a parent's cancer. She loves to read, drink tea, and go on walks around the lake!

Julia Giolo

Julia Giolo (class of 2028) is a sophomore majoring in Data Science with a minor in Psychology. Outside of BAM, she is a member of Northwestern’s Biokind Analytics Club, which supports non-profit healthcare organizations through data-driven projects. She also volunteers as a tutor with Books & Breakfast at Lincoln Elementary School. In her free time, she enjoys reading, discovering new music, watching sports, and traveling whenever she can.
